Today in Class 6, we learned a lot of new things and had so much fun together! Our Teacher’s Assistants used big voices and spoke clearly during Morning Meeting. After that we learned about Japanese words that use the same hiragana such as ‘flower’ (はな) and ‘nose’ (はな) but have different kanji and slightly different pronunciations. It was so interesting! Next, we played a new game where we walk until the music stops and then quickly close our eyes and pretend to sleep. While we are ‘sleeping’, a teacher put a blanket over one friend. We opened our eyes and tried to guess who was under the blanket! Class 6 is very good at this game! English Activity was next, and we got to try a giant maze to learn where various foods come from. We did a great job getting to the middle of the maze! It was fun learning about all those different foods, too! We danced to a silly song called ‘Hot Potato’, ate a tasty lunch, played with our friends, and did the Goodbye Meeting. We had a blast at IYK today!
