• 2015.11.09Today’s Class 5

  

  今日の５組さんは、朝からMusic lesson、English lesson、表現フェスティバルの練習と大忙し！Music lessonでは、初めて合奏でどんな楽器をどんな風に使うのかということを安江先生に教えてもらい、「早くやりたい！」とみんなさらに意欲をもった様子でした。次にEnglish lesson。Mr.Jasonにジャケットやブーツなど、冬に身に付けるものを教えてもらいました。「知ってる！It’s a jacket！」などと元気に答えていましたよ！最後に表現フェスティバルの練習！すっかりダンスを覚えてきた５組のお子様達。笑顔で踊ったり、ステージの横で歌をうたって応援したりと、一生懸命に練習に取り組んでいました。台詞や立ち位置がなかなか覚えられない時には、「○○だよ！」「こっちに行くんだよ。」と優しく教えあう姿も見られましたよ。たくさんのLessonや練習の後は、「お腹が空いた！」と言ってランチもたくさん食べていましたよ！表現フェスティバルに向けて、練習を真剣に取り組んでいる５組さん。本番も楽しみにしていてくださいね♪

• 2015.11.05Today’s Class 4

  

  Today was a lot of fun in class 4. The children had a music lesson where they could practice very well for Hyogen Festival. After that we drew pictures of Autumn scenery to make Mr.Owl happy. Class 4 have been practising very hard for their Hyogen Festival performance and were very excited to learn that they could go on stage again. Once we got on stage Cinderella time began and the children did very well to put on a great practice. It will be great to see them perform this at the Hyogen Festival. During playtime some of the children wanted to practice Cinderella again so we did that through song and dancing. The Class 4 children went home happy and very much looking forward to next weeks fun at the kindergarten.

• 2015.11.04Today’s Class 3♪

  

  今日の3組は、初めてステージに遊びに行きました。赤ずきんちゃんに案内してもらい、一階にあるステージに到着すると、「はやく遊びたい！」と期待感に胸を膨らませていました。また、ステージにあるライトやカーテンをみんなで見ると、「面白そう！」と興味津々でしたよ。安全に遊ぶための約束を赤ずきんちゃんに聞き、ステージの使い方がわかった3組さん。みんなで「赤ずきんちゃんにおまかせ！」のダンスをして、お客さんに見に来てもらうことを楽しみにしていましたよ。ダンスや楽器をたくさん頑張って、素敵な姿をお客さんに見せてあげましょうね！

• 2015.10.30Today’s Koala Class

  

  Today’s Koala Class was a lot of fun! The Halloween Party we had yesterday was very enjoyable and we could have a good time today as well. Today the music teacher, Yasue-sensei came and taught the Koala children how to play bells. The children will perform with the instruments at Hyogen, so today was their first practice. Everyone did very good! After that, we reviewed some phonics and ate lunch. By the time that finished, it was already time to go home. We had a nice time today and I hope everyone has a great weekend. See you next time!

• 2015.10.292015 IYK Halloween Party

  

  Today we had a very fun Halloween Party here at International Yamanote Kindergarten. It was great seeing all the children in their costumes. Some were cool, some were a little scary, and everyone looked so cute! The children played Halloween-themed games and danced to Halloween music after listening to a story. The children were able to help many Minions and as a result recieved a candy present. It was great to see everyone say “trick or treat” and get yummy Halloween candy. It was a very fun day!

  今日も2組さんは元気いっぱい！久しぶりに19人のお友達が勢揃いしましたよ！朝一番は、1階のお部屋で5組さん、8組さんのお兄さん、お姉さん達と一緒に発見活動を楽しみました♪新聞紙で剣や車をつくったり、画用紙でお魚をつくり魚釣りを楽しんだり、折り紙で紙飛行機つくりのチャレンジしたりとArtな活動から今日はスタートしました。安江先生のMusic Lessonでは、すずやタンバリン、トライアングルと大好きな楽器にたくさん触れ、いろいろな音色を楽しみました☆昨日、2組さんのお部屋に突如 現れた「大きなｶﾌﾞ！！」なりたい役でつくったお面をかぶって「大きなｶﾌﾞごっこ」が始まりました。それぞれの役になりきって、力を合わせてｶﾌﾞを抜こうと頑張る姿がとても可愛い2組さんでした。明日はいよいよ楽しみにしていたHalloween Partyです！帰りの会では「わたしはラプンツェルになるの。」「ぼくは2つあってね。明日は消防士さんだよ!」などと、コスチュームの話で盛り上がりました☆
  今から明日のPartyが楽しみですね！

• 2015.10.27Birthday Party

  

  今日は１０月生まれのお友達のBirthday Partyでした＊たくさんのお友達を前に、少し緊張している様子のお子さまや、自信に満ち溢れた表情のお子さまなど、それぞれ様子は違いましたが、１４人のお子さま全員が一つお兄さん・お姉さんになったことを喜んでいたようでした。今日のTeacher’s Playにはお友達がいなく、自分の誕生日をお祝いしてもらえないことに悲しんでいるエリーが登場。しくしく泣いていると・・新聞紙を使って遊ぶことが大好きなゆっきーが現れ、2人で一緒に遊ぶことに！りぼんや紙でっぽう、キャッチボールのおもちゃを作り、気づけばエリーの顔もにこにこに♪最後には、ゆっきーとお子さま達みんなでエリーのお祝いをしました。「お祝いされるのも、お祝いするのもとっても楽しいし、嬉しい気持ちになるね！」と話すとお子さま達もたくさんうなずいてくれていましたよ。異年齢での絵画活動で、新聞遊びを行っているお子さま達。今日で更に新聞紙の楽しい遊び方を知ることができました♪

• 2015.10.26Today’s Class 1

  

  Class 1 had a very busy but fun day today. In the morning we enjoyed playing with Classes 4 and 7 on the first floor. We made paper airplanes out of origami paper and hats and swords with newspapers. We then had fun exercising together followed by sticker book time. We then made today’s Halloween craft. The children drew the outlines of scary ghosts onto their paper and then used white paint to colour their ghosts insides. Every had so much fun using the paint and brushes that they wanted to do some more. The children had lots of fun painting rice balls, snowmen, ghosts, clouds and ice cream onto different sized and different coloured paper. It was soon time for lunch and everyone had seconds today too! Great job today Class 1.

• 2015.10.23Parent Teachers in Class 7

  

  Today in Class 7 we had Parent Teacher day. Many of the kids’ parents came to play some shape puzzles with us. The children were able to create lots of different tangrams using only triangles. After all the puzzles were completed, we were shown how to make rocket launchers out of newspaper. After everyone finished, we lined up and took turns firing at some mean-looking bad guys from space. We rounded off the day with a packed lunch and some cool Halloween craft. Thank you to all the parents who came today. Everyone had a great time!

• 2015.10.22Parents Teacher～Class 6～

  

  今日は年中組最後のペアレンツティ―チャーの日でした。朝の会をしている時から、お母さま達の姿を見かけると、「あ、お母さん達、もう来てくれてるよ！」と楽しみで仕方の無い様子だった6組さん。それぞれのテーブルに画用紙や絵の具が配られると、何をするのかと興味津々。割りばしに付いているスポンジを見て、「これと絵の具で何をするんだろうね。」とワクワクしていました。色画用紙の上に魔女やジャックオーランタン、クモの巣やHappy Halloweenと型抜きされた色々なステンシルを置き、割りばしに付いているスポンジタンポを使って、絵の具でとんとん。素敵なHalloweenのカードができあがりました。「楽しかった～！」と満足そうに自分の作品を眺めながらとても可愛らしい笑顔を見せて喜んでいたお子さま達。準備を含め、今日の活動は大変だったと思いますが、楽しく活動をし、オリジナリティ溢れる作品を持ち帰ることもできました。素敵な時間を本当にありがとうございました。
