Today was the first IYK Immersion Overnight Experience. Children arrived and were welcomed to the `Hotel England`, had their reservations checked, their bags carried for them by our `Porters` and enjoyed tea and biscuit time. Once everyone had been welcomed by Mr. England it was time to help the hotel’s chef prepare dinner. The children ripped cabbage into small pieces then cut zucchini and bacon and added it into the cooking pot. Next we went to the park and had lots and lots of fun playing a traditional British childrens game, British Bulldog. It was so much fun that everyone wanted to play it again. We then enjoyed the cool weather and had lots of fun playing with toys in the park. There have been so many smiles so far today!
