Today was the last day for Koala Class, and it was a very special day! Mommies and Daddies waited for us to get ready and see how much everyone has grown up. After cleaning up and getting ready, the parents came back to see their children. We had a great morning meeting, and everyone used a big voice to call out the weather, the date, and sing BINGO. Today there was a letter on the board with clues leading to Curious George. He was UNDER the table! George gave everyone money to buy presents for their Mommies and Daddies, and we went shopping! All the children went to the flower shop and after choosing a color, could ask, “May I have a pink flower please?” After everyone got their flowers the children turned to their Mommies and said, “I love you!” and gave them their flowers. We also sang and danced to ‘Hot Potato’ to finish off the day. Today was lots of fun, and so was every other day this year. Koala Class has been awesome this year. The children have learned how to do so much for themselves and we can’t wait to see them again in Junior Class. We would like to thank all of the parents for their support and patience this year. Have a wonderful Spring Break, and we will see you in April!
This afternoon we were very pleased to hold this year’s English Speaking Club graduation ceremony. It makes us very proud to show our appreciation to the commitment of coming to ESC every week for 5 years. All of the English teachers had the chance to talk to the children, and they were presented with very special awards for their hard work and effort. Everyone’s English has come so far in the last few years, and we hope that everyone will continue to read, write, and speak English in the future. Thank you to all of the parents for your dedication to your children’s education, and to today’s graduating class for always doing your best!
