Today in Class 1 we had an active day full of fun. In the morning meeting, we reviewed prepositions like “on”, “under”, “in”, and “next to” by placing a present around the classroom. After our morning meeting, we did phonics and the children could name many words that began with letters like “L”, “T”, and “Y”. We practiced drawing lines in our line books and then decorated our Christmas origami crafts. We enjoyed yummy lunch boxes and had some more art time before playing. Today’s play time was special because one of the students brought toys to share. All the children were happy and played so nicely. It was a snowy day but Class 1 was full of fun!
